Waubra Football Club Womens Day

The Waubra Football Club had its annual Ladies Day on Saturday during the Senior Game against Learmonth.

A crowd of over 50 ladies gather to laugh, drink and raise money for Breast Cancer.  The day was a huge success with over $500 raised for this wonderful cause.  There was a demonstration from Chef’s toolbox as well as a great game of football, but most ladies were too busy talking to really see much of the football.  Lots of food including sushi, gourmet sandwiches and beautiful homemade slices and cakes were consumed.

The raffle saw Gwen Molloy win the door prize, Toni Briody and Marie Loader win Regent Multiplex gift vouchers and Dawn Harrison win the biggest block of Toblerone Chocolate ever seen, check out the attached picture.

Well done to the Waubra Football Club for holding this great day out, and now the men have manned the canteem all afternoon, there will be no holding them nack at future games.
