Thanks to Laura Molloy here are two pictures that give a different view over the Glenbrae and Ercildoune areas than the one most of us see in our day to day activities. You forget how high Quoin Hill is at 630 m above sea level, 100 metres higher than Mount Mitchell, similar to Mount Bolton and just 90 metres shy of the peak on Mount Misery at 722 metres.
