burrumbeet02 burrumbeet03 burrumbeet01Burrumbeet Landcare is part of the Upper Mount Emu Creek Landcare Network, established in 1996. The Group works to support landholders in improving the landscape condition, sustainability and biodiversity of their land.

Covering the Brewster, Burrumbeet and Ercildoune areas, the group undertakes educational events, runs trials, provides resources for weed and pest control as well as a free trees scheme annually supported through the Waubra Wind Farm Community Fund.

The group also supports major projects for revegetation, usually with public funding from the State or Federal government.

The Group undertakes around 6 individual property projects each year, plus supporting a further 12 landholders through providing free trees.
